Central Principle

All things God created are good as he created them.  To alter them in any way would be to destroy his creation and to destroy the natural balance and symbiosis inherent within God's creation.  We must never altar God's creation in any way.

All God Made is Good How He Made It

  • No additives or chemicals of any kind in our food at any point in time.

  • No additives in water, soil or vegetation used to grow plant food or graze animals raised for food.  Only the manure and urine of completely additive free, chemical free animals may be used because this is natural and beneficial.

  • No additives or chemicals on or in animals raised for food.

  • No additives or chemicals used during harvesting, butchering, processing, or packaging of plant or animal food.

  • All organisms God created in their natural state are good for us, such as enzymes, bacteria, viruses, and parasites, and have a beneficial symbiotic relationship with animals and humans.

  • We have the God-given right to grow plant food and eat it in this completely natural manner.

  • We have the God-given right to raise animals, kill, and eat them in this completely natural manner.

  • We have the God-given right to hunt, kill and eat animals.

  • We have the God-given right to consume food in this completely natural manner.

  • We have the God-given right to give, trade or sell our plant or animal food, as God made it, to members of our Congregation so that they may perform the holy sacraments of the Congregation.

Genesis 1:24-31 (New American Standard)

Then God said, "Let the earth bring forth living creatures after their kind: cattle and creeping things and beasts of the earth after their kind "; and it was so.  God made the beasts of the earth after their kind, and the cattle after their kind, and everything that creeps on the ground after its kind; and God saw that it was good. Then God said, "Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; and let them rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over the cattle and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."  God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.  God blessed them; and God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it; and rule over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the sky and over every living thing that moves on the earth." Then God said, "Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the surface of all the earth, and every tree which has fruit yielding seed; it shall be food for you; and to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the sky and to every thing that moves on the earth which has life, I have given every green plant for food"; and it was so.  God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.

Romans 1:20 (New American Standard)

For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse.

Romans 14:2-3 (New American Standard)

One person has faith that he may eat all things, but he who is weak eats vegetables only.  The one who eats is not to regard with contempt the one who does not eat, and the one who does not eat is not to judge the one who eats, for God has accepted him.

Acts 10:9-15 (New American Standard)

On the next day, as they were on their way and approaching the city, Peter went up on the housetop about the sixth hour to pray.   But he became hungry and was desiring to eat; but while they were making preparations, he fell into a trance;  and he saw the sky opened up, and an object like a great sheet coming down, lowered by four corners to the ground, and there were in it all kinds of four-footed animals and crawling creatures of the earth and birds of the air.

A voice came to him, "Get up, Peter, kill and eat!"  But Peter said, "By no means, Lord, for I have never eaten anything unholy and unclean."  Again a voice came to him a second time, "What God has cleansed, no longer consider unholy."

I Corinthians 3:16-17 (New American Standard)

Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If any man destroys the temple of God, God will destroy him, for the temple of God is holy, and that is what you are.

I Corinthians 6:12, 15, 19-20 (New American Standard)

All things are lawful for me, but not all things are profitable. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be mastered by anything…

Do you not know that your bodies are members of Christ?...

Or do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and that you are not your own?  For you have been bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body.

I Peter 1:15-16 (New American Standard)

but like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; because it is written, "YOU SHALL BE HOLY, FOR I AM HOLY."

Romans 12:1-2 (New American Standard)

Therefore I urge you, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual service of worship. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
